2024 saw Reach4wrd collaborate with Skate It Yourself and Northern Powerhouse Boxing Academy to deliver the Girls Allowed - Friday Night Project on Calder Holmes Park, Hebden Bridge from April until the end of August.

Every Friday night Skate It Yourself would take over the skate park for a girls only skate session and then a mixed session.

​

Northern Powerhouse Boxing Academy worked with local sport clubs and services to deliver an amazing mix of boxing, basketball, football, rugby, cricket, tennis and rounders!

​

Our aim was to create a safe space and encourage young people to learn a new skill, socialise and make new friends.
